A collaboration between CBC Sports Radio and 919 Beer will once again result in a fun afternoon of music and brew. And this year 95.7 FM That Station is getting into the music mix. The 6th Annual Beericana Craft Beer & Music Festival will take place on Saturday, October 12, 2019, from noon to 6pm at Sugg Farms in Holly Springs, NC.
Beericana planners moved the event to the cooler temps of October, and thankfully fall-like weather has arrived in the nick of time.
99.9 The Fan Event Sales Representative Megan Keenan has been involved with Beericana for four of the event’s six years.
“I love the partnership we have with Beericana and 919 Beer,” she said. “99.9 The Fan and 95.7 That Station will be onsite again this year and we are doing it bigger and better!”
She continued, “99.9 The Fan will be onsite with our amazing Man Cave streaming the games thanks to our Internet sponsor TING and going bigger with the help of our Title Sponsor, GMA we will have a bigger footprint this year as well. Three tents filled with couches and chairs for the attendees to come by and pick up swag and catch up with the game day scores as they are sampling some of the best beers from NC and surrounding states.”
This is the first year That Station will be involved with the music part of Beericana.
“We suggested the bands to the 919 Beer guys!” said That Station Chief Music Operator/Morning Curator Sean McHugh. “Triangle Lawn Games is sponsoring the music/bands and the plan is to broadcast ALL 3 live on That Station! So you won’t miss a beat! Just tune in.”
The tentative set times are:
- 12 – 1:30 – Dr. Bacon
- 1:45 – 3:00 – Chatham Rabbits
- 3:30 – 5:15 – New Reveille
“I know we talk about the great beers and food that the festival brings every year but this year the music shines just as bright AND That Station will be broadcasting the music on-air live!” said Keenan. “I am so excited! We will be onsite with That Station with games and fun things going on and added bonus….bringing the music to all our listeners with some of our favorites like New Reveille, Dr. Bacon, and Chatham Rabbits!”
As Keenan and McHugh referred to, a number of great sponsors are helping make Beericana happen. Check out the Beericana website for all of the other sponsors who are so vital to the event.
Tickets are still available for Beericana 2019. Visit the website for pricing and details.
Come join Keenan and McHugh for all the fun.
“I will be exhausted as this is normally a 12+ hour workday for me,” said Keenan, “but is the best kind of exhausting!”
