American Tobacco, FOX 50 & the Durham Bulls are getting downtown Durham ready to celebrate Independence Day.
On Sunday, July 4, 2010, Red, White, Blues & Bluegrass debuts at American Tobacco under the water tower. The Independence Day concert, 4-8pm, will feature renowned regional talents such as the Bethesda Bluegrass Boys, Triple Fret and Mandolin Orange leading up to that evening’s fireworks extravaganza at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. FOX 50 is also a sponsor of the Red, White & Blues Bluegrass event.
The Durham Bulls started a four-day 4th of July celebration on Thursday, July 1st with the first of four straight nights of fireworks after the game. The Bulls will take on the Louisville Bats on Friday, July 2nd with Friday Night Fireworks.
They’ll then take on the Gwinnett Braves on Saturday, July 3rd with fireworks and then a special Independence Day celebration as they take on the Braves again on the 4th of July.
