CBC Employee Accepted into Leadership North Carolina 98-99

CBC employee Marylou Harris has been selected to attend the sixth class of Leadership North Carolina. The mission of Leadership North Carolina is to develop informed future leaders for the State of North Carolina. The program consists of six, monthly sessions held in six different cities across the State.

Topics for discussion include: Orientation (to the Leadership North Carolina program concept and expectations), Government (discussing growth, taxes and spending), Economic Development (discussing issues from a corporate and community perspective), Education (discussing issues and challenges facing our State), Health and Human Services (discussing the status of healthcare in our State), and the Environment (discussing goals, resources, and balancing economic growth with environmental protection).
