The WRAL-TV Tower: A Familiar Landmark |
The 300 ft. WRAL TV tower, a familiar landmark on Western Boulevard in West Raleigh, is being taken down to make room for the expansion of the WRAL TV studios. But don’t despair: a new 300 ft. tower is being built right around the corner. CBC intends to continue its holiday tradition of lighting the new tower on December 1, to create Raleigh’s only 300 ft. Christmas tree.
