FOX50 sponsored a Clay Aiken CD Release Party at Raleighwood. |
Fans started lining up at 4pm for the 8pm party. |
Raleigh native & American Idol runner-up Clay Aiken released his first CD at midnight on Monday, October 13, 2003, and FOX50 helped Triangle citizens celebrate at the Raleighwood Cinema & Grille. Fans began lining up at 4pm for the 8pm party and filled the event to capacity.
Guests viewed special footage of Clay’s performances’ and highlights from FOX50 before School Kids Records began selling the CD at midnight.
“Measure of a Man” is Aiken’s debut effort after his successful run as one of the final two American Idol contestants earlier this year.
