All summer long, WRAL-TV viewers can spend some time in Mayberry.   Each weekday 10-11am, see two classic episodes of The Andy Griffith Show.  Each week will have a different theme, which began Monday, June 6th with “The Best of Barney.” For 14 weeks, the themes will continue as follows:

• Week of 6/13 – Father and Son
• Week of 6/20 – Scams, Scandals and Swindlers
• Week of 6/27 – Ladies of Mayberry
• Week of 7/4 – Musical Mayberry
• Week of 7/11 – The Wisdom of Andy
• Week of 7/18 – Best of Gomer
• Week of 7/25 – Aunt Bee
• Week of 8/1 – Lawmen
• Week of 8/8 – Best of Opie
• Week of 8/15 – Courtin’
• Week of 8/22 – Bright Light, Big City
• Week of 8/29 – Otis
• Week of 9/5 – Only in Mayberry

Viewers who watch carefully could get the chance to win great prizes from weekly sponsors, and eventually a grand prize winner will be drawn at the end of the 14-week run. 

A Mayberry “Word of the Week” will appear during one episode each week.  Viewers can then log onto WRAL.com to enter the contest, giving the word they saw on air.  A winner will be drawn from that week’s entries.  At the end of the summer, a grand prize winner will be drawn from all of the weekly winners.
