Program Director Joanne Stanley and Program Assistant Corinne Hampton came to Raleigh with cake and sparkling grape juice to highlight the event. (The program is produced in the WRAL-TV studio.)
Tarheel Talk is produced by Sonya Williams-Harris who is no stranger to North Carolinians. She co-hosted WUNC’s statewide program Legislative Week and was a correspondent on North Carolina Now. She continues to produce WUNC’s In The Garden with Bryce Lane.
