Stormtrack 2007 To Prepare WRAL-TV Viewers for Hurricanes Half-Hour Special Airs Wed, July 25th at 7pm |
If another Hurricane Fran hits the Triangle, will you be ready? Stormtrack 2007, WRAL-TV’s annual hurricane preparedness special, will hit the airwaves this week to help you know the facts for bracing for a storm. The half-hour special Stormtrack 2007 will air on WRAL-TV on Wednesday, July 25th at 7:00pm.
Even though WRAL-TV’s viewing area isn’t directly on the coast, hurricanes can still bring one of the biggest storm dangers inland – flooding. Stormtrack 2007 examines issues such as insurance:
- Do you know what you own?
- Can you prove it?
- What does your policy cover?
- And the special compares coastal property insurance versus new building codes.
Learn what items, conventional and unconventional, you need to pack in your survival kit. Get a peek at Greg’s Glossary, the terms WRAL-TV Chief Meteorologist Greg Fishel tosses around during Hurricane season and what they really mean.
Stormtrack 2007 also takes viewers on a tour of WRAL.com’s Hurricane Online section. The section launched one day ahead of Tropical Storm Barry. The official Hurricane season runs June 1 to November 30th.
WRAL-TV Anchor/Reporter Debra Morgan hosts this Hurricane special. Be sure to tune in so you’ll know what to do in the face of a storm.
