Wolfpack Sports Marketing, NC State Football Players & U.S. Marines celebrate another successful season comes to a close with two truckloads of toys for the kids. |
Wolfpack Sports Marketing and sponsorship partner, Coca-Cola hosted their fifth annual Wolfpack Football/US Marines Toys for Tots shopping trip with the Wolfpack Football players on Monday, Dec 5, 2011. NC State football players purchased over $20,000 in toys for children throughout this seven-county area.
The toys will be distributed to families in need by the US Marines Toys for Tots program.
The funds used to purchase the toys were donated by Coca-Cola ($500 per touchdown scored by the team this year).

Cam Wentz loaded 274 toys into his shopping cart to emerge as the day’s most savvy shopper. |
David Amerson compares his haul with that of back up QB Daniel Imhoff. |
Tobias Palmer and Dontae Johnson have their hands full of great gifts for young children to enjoy this season. |
This season the players were each teamed with a US Marine Corps member for the shopping trip.
By the end of the event, the players and marines had filled two military transport trucks with toys for children of all ages.
Since WSM & NC State started the program five years ago we have raised $200,000 in cash donations and collected over 15,000 toys to distribute over the holidays.
