The Durham Bulls recently announced their home schedule for the 2013 International League season. After opening the season on the road, the Bulls kick off their 72-game home slate on Monday, April 8th against the Gwinnett Braves. The home schedule concludes on Tuesday, August 27th, with the Bulls then closing out the regular season on the road.
The Bulls will once again host a home game on the Fourth of July, when the division rival Norfolk Tides visit the DBAP for a two game series on July 4 and 5. The Pawtucket Red Sox, Triple-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, return to Durham for a weekend series on July 18-21.
Other notable non-division opponents include weekend series against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs (Philadelphia Phillies affiliate) on May 10-13 and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees (New York Yankees) on May 31-June 3.
The 2013 home schedule features 10 Friday dates, 11 Saturdays and 11 Sundays. The full 2013 schedule, including away games and road game times, will be announced at a later date.
