Students and advisors from the James Sprunt Community College in Kenansville recently stopped by the studios of WRAL-TV for a tour. This was their annual cultural trip arranged by the TRIO Student Support Services program at the school; they toured the local museums, the State government complex, and had lunch at Big Ed’s. The final stop was the much requested WRAL tour that was proposed by Station Manager, Jim Rothschild.
Included in the group were many adult students seeking to `embark on second careers in various fields. They were extremely delighted to meet several of the on-air talent that they invited into their homes daily, according to Mr. Melvin Felton, TRIO student advisor.
Thanks to WRAL-TV’s Clarence Williams for this capcom story & for these capcom photos.
