Fox Wins Dancing Like the Stars in Record-Breaking Fashion

WRAL-FM Traffic Supervisor/Asst Morning Show Producer Vanna Fox is a record-breaking dancer. Not only did Fox become the first radio personality to win the Triangle’s Dancing Like the Stars competition, she broke the all-time individual fundraising total.

Fox took to the dance floor with her partner, Eli, an Arthur Murray Dance Studio Instructor, at the Southern Women’s Show on Saturday, April 26, 2014.

“I had a ball,” said Fox. “So now I really have the dancing bug! I got so much support from CBC employees…THANK YOU!!!”

“You do need a crown,” Faye Aiken Parker, Dancing Like the Stars organizer, told Fox. “Spectacular dancing and more spectacular fundraising. Congrats on all that. Top fundraiser in eight years of Dancing Like The Stars for National Inclusion Project. Woo hoo!”

Fox not only broke the record, she brought in half of the total raised by the five dancers.

“WOW, what fun and great time at Southern Women’s Show for Dancing Like the Stars,” said Aiken Parker. “The dancers raised our second highest amount in the eight years we have done the show. $11, 906 and some money still coming in. Thank you, Vanna Fox, the winner for bringing in over $5K of that. Thank you Eli for being her partner.”

Fox’s MIX 101.5 co-worker Brittany Goodman said it best, “Vanna is definitely the queen of fundraising and amazing when it comes to giving back to the community!”
