MIX’s Loveland To Play Against Harlem Globetrotters During Game Half-Time

WRAL-FM Morning Show Co-Host Lynda Loveland played a two-on-two game among CBC co-workers at last year’s Harlem Globetrotters game at the PNC Arena. This year, she’s coming back for more and is moving up her competition. Loveland will play against Globetrotters during half-time at their performance at the PNC Arena this Friday, March 1, 2013. The fun begins at 7pm.
“Last year it was a 2v2 with a couple of boys from TV (Cullen and Kevin), but this year, I’m on my own!” said Loveland. She and CBC Sports Radio Host Mark Thomas lost by only one shot to the two WRAL Reporters last spring.
She got her jersey on Monday morning, February 25th, from one of the Globetrotters who stopped by the MIX studios.
“I plan on freshening up my skills this week,” said Loveland. “I played a year of ball at the Air Force Academy but have only played sporadically since then. I still got game though!!!”
