CBC Plants April Pinwheel Garden For Child Abuse Prevention Month

CBC Pinwheel Garden 2018

FOX 50’s Sharon Farrington helps plant a pinwheel garden for Prevent Child Abuse Month at CBC’s Corporate headquarters on Friday, April 6, 2018.

Several CBC staffers gathered on the front lawn despite the cold to carry on what has become an annual tradition last Friday, April 6, 2018.  CBC again planted a pinwheel garden at its Western Blvd headquarters in honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month.  The silver and blue pinwheels draw attention to the issue of child abuse and neglect, and the efforts of organizations like Prevent Child Abuse NC.

CBC employees from WRAL-TV, FOX 50 and Corporate helped Prevent Child Abuse NC staffers and volunteers to plant several hundred pinwheels that will grace the WRAL Gardens throughout April.
